Aman is the root word of belief and trust. It comes up so frequently in the old testament, but it's also the same root word of a couple of verses that surprised me. For example, when isaiah talks about kings shall be thy nursing fathers and queens, thy nursing mothers. They'll pick you up on their shoulders and bring you singing to zion. You picture god's di divine embrace, that he, god, is our nursing father. We can hang our hopes on him. And if we'll believe like that, if we'll trust god like that, it will count as righteousness.
