I love Google Maps, but they have no correspondence to the reality of what you experience when you walk or drive. It seems to me an absolutely nefarious way of thinking about mapping the city that the way you want to go is the shortest way. And one thing I actually love about this book is the number of bad grids in it. So several of the artists, especially, use grid's fear back strum has all these dissolving grids.
