The Low Hanging Fruit of Big Data Experiments

Do you see big compute experiments as kind of almost like a low hanging fruit at this point for the people who have those resources and everyone else has to look higher up in the tree? That's a good way of putting it. Let me say that I am certainly not alone in having like a long list of like more or less formulated ideas that I was thinking about like four years that I just could not do. And then I see someone else basically publishing a paper showing that it works because they put the million dollars of compute into it. So yes, to some extent is low hanging fruit in the sense that it gets much easier to do research at this scale. Of course you have other problems
