The Seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit
Father Joseph Anthony: The gifts of the Holy Spirit are that which begin in us without our baptism. So they're gifts of God to us as his children, and their unique in that sense is that like they're given to his children at that moment where we become his adopted sons of daughters. And so we'll talk about the missions of the divine persons on St. Thomas's Sermon on the Mount. But maybe we could just focus a little bit on the basic distinction between virtues and gifts.
