There are some indications that seeing the inequality between first class and coach does affect passengers. For example, some planes don't start boarding with their first class passengers. And keats says that makes a difference. Ye there's a difference in the sense that if youv board plane in the middle or at the rear and don't have to walk past the first class cabin, there's a much lower incidents of air rage in the coach cabin.
