The Second Reason It Doesn't Work Is Because There Is No God

If you're a secular person, you are living by faith. No religion actually believes that god is an object inside the universe like the abominable snow man. Secular people say matter generated itself and doesn't need any under girding reality behind it. How do you test for that? You can't. And because you can't disprove the existence of god, that means if you're living as if there is no god, you're doing it on faith.
