Maypole Dance - A Celebration of the Trees
maypole dance is based on the very ancient celebration of trees, the druid trees. The world trees that appear in most trance based animist religions or traditions. We dance around the maple in celebration of the tree spirits because we want to give our blessings to the trees. Our dances bless the trees, and we receive their blessings back, and their love. Belting is the time of randy rutding animals and rising sap in what the pagan writer h g. Hazzah haza.
