What Do You Mean by Free Will?

Ys: I'm beginning to think that much of this debate, the problem of free will, is semmantics. It seems that the common understanding of free will is shared by everyone, but philosophers just use different labels and terms. Am: There's a lot of confusion in talking past one another. The average person believes they are able to make free choices. They understand that if choices are forced, they're not free.
