People with eating disorders, even those who are severely ill, often appear completely rational. Refusing food is far more imotive than just saying, i don't want to take that tablet. People could die if they didn't have the food they needed. But we didn't seem to know a great deal about insight. So you wanted to know what these patients understood about their mental illness.
