When i went to m i t i, i was very much thinking that i would work on structural biology. But a seminar by lenny garenti shifted my direction away from structural biology and biophysical chemistry into the biology of aging. And so again, i can look back at that moment when lenny gave that talk, and really see how this had a really fundamental effect on the rest of my career. So map what happened after you finished your ph d. What kind of research did you do in the department? And then how did it relate to aging?
