The Importance of Cervical Cancer Screening
Cervical cancer in the 1950s, up until the 1950s and 60s was the number one cancer killer of women. The screening test that has been nearly eradicated with the screening test is only maybe 50% sensitive for the pre cancers. These lesions can take 10 plus years to turn into stage one cancer. So if you keep doing this cheap and easy and accessible test on a regular basis, you'll catch it in all likelihood, you'll caught it in time.
