I'm struck by the fact that we're talking so much about adapting to warming, rather than preventing it. There's a hundred and one uncertainties, but there's now a deep body of knowledge. We can say with very high confidence that if you add aerasals to stratosphere, you will reflect sunlight and the planet would cool. Nobody would seriously doubt that. But i don't want to sound like we know everything. Even after this is deployed, we won't know exactly how well it worked or didn't.
