The Future of Cities

The modern notion of a smart city isn't really about robots going around fixing stuff, it's about gathering data to make better decisions with. Most cities love the idea of repurposing some derelict ruined buildings into some green space like community vegetable gardens. But you have a big problem of maintaining plots not in use so that they either look nice or at least not be a giant overgrown mess of weeds which some skunk decide to claim as its own. This is also much of the appeal to our ecology towers, the giant super scraper concept where the inside might have whole levels of parks and gardens and even farms.
