The New Paradigm of Fitness Is False

The old paradigm was, exercise burns calories. Cardio for 30 minutes will burn more calories during the time you're doing it than almost any other form of exercise. The body adapts to exercise because exercise is a stress. It's trying to become efficient and good at what you're asking it to do. Doing lots of cardio literally slows your metabolism down. That makes your body a more efficient, fat storing machine.
