Finding Meaning in Things That Are Real, Right?
The problem with living under systems of oppression is you turn to the system constantly for validation, right? Because at baseline, you're turning to them to like beg for a job that would give you basic survival resources. So people spend their whole life trying to like aspire at like get to arbitrary metrics of capital success and their careers because it gives them meaning. And just because we need that meaning, we need validity and we need meaning in our lives, but finding that and things that are real makes sense as to why that would make you happy. But finding that in oppressive systems that are designed to never make you happy iswhy so much of us feel empty if we're not succeeding within the framework
