The Comfort of Dying

I remember dying. I was surfing on a wave on a river and the rope that I was using to like stand up on the wave was tied to the shore, like upstream. And when it when I fell, the end of the rope got caught on my leg. So I just held my breath until I passed out. I was underwater for like eight minutes. The thing I remember most was this warm sense of everything is going to be okay. It was like this warm blanket.
