The Mind of a Psychopath
The only good outcome of a mass murder epidemic has been an increased awareness that mental health treatment is woefully underfunded and inaccessible to most people who desperately need it. The best we can hope for is reduced access to weapons for mass destruction. It shouldn't be easier for a potential killer to get a gun than get an outpatient appointment. We need to improve both sides of the equation, more treatment, fewer guns.
