Fire Bombings in Japan - What's the Difference?

There is no comparison. If you want to get on a moral high horse about American air power in the Second World War, Pacific theater, it's lame. What I always tell people is that, have we not dropped nuclear weapons? And I'm not defending that policy, but have we not done it? The fire bombing was just going to continue. It wasn't going to spare anybody anything.
