The Role of CCP in Arthritis
The rheumatoid factor is an IgG directed, or that's something, it's an IgM directed at the FC portion of an IgG. The CCP was more recently discovered in the late 90s as being an antibody that actually seemed to be more highly correlated with rheumatoidal arthritis than the rheumatoids factor. Monitoring disease activity is kind of a new field using some of these indexes. There are different models and incorporated systems into EMRs over how to do that.
