How to Deal With Phobias
8 to 12% of the population has an anxiety related disorder. It doesn't get treated a ton because it doesn't cause clinically significant distress. The most common way that people deal with phobias is avoidance, right? So we're going for delayed reaction processing so we want the person to see and experience the stimuli. Then from that to walk it back and like just kind of cognitively reframe what they're experiencing Calm safe place similar techniques to what we're doing with anxiety or OCD.
