Rush Limbaugh's TV Show
The Rush Limbaugh TV show was what you'd call a modest success. The 30 minutes syndicated series ran from 1992 to 1996. In 1996, the same year the Limbaugh show ended, Ailes co-founded Fox News at the behest of Rupert Murdoch. It is not hard to draw a straight line from Limbaugh's TV show to talking heads like Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity.
