Is There Any Evidence of Peter Being Given an Office?

In three of the four synoptic gospels, peter is explicitly given a unique office among the apossils. I don't agree with your interpretation of those other passages,. i think that those passages in luke and john are over er interpreted. And it seems to me that everything that happens within acts in the first 12 chapters, is perfectly consonant with peter having a certain sort of personality without himself being anything as lofty as the rock on which the church is built.
