Mahmoud's Fake Shake
Mahmoud posed as a Bollywood producer and asked Tulesa to sell him cocaine. She was very drunk at this point, but said she would try to arrange it. A friend of Tulesa's delivers the drugs to Mahmoud in exchange for £800 around €1000. The following Sunday, the story was published by British newspapers. This style of journalism came under scrutiny during Mahmoud's trial. He was found guilty and sentenced to 15 months in prison. Now he is keeping a low profile, hidden from the public eye.
