A yung is a fascinating figure to me, one of the really great intellectuals of twentieth century. Begins very much in the freudian school, but then departs from freud in all sorts of interesting ways. Think of his influence now on people like a joseph campbell, the comparative mythologist who was deeply yung ina. Campbell then influences george lucas, who makes the star wars movies.
