If you're doing lovecrafty, straight love crafty in fiction, there has to be the other that's totally unknowable, totally out, the totally other. So really, your try to articulate the people who are almost in our unknown. They're the other? Yes, exactly. I want, we have this habit of assigning beings and and people and things to the unknown, to the status of the other, and not realizing we are their other. You know, they're looking at us. Now, shapots are a great example here, because in in the story where they appear at the mountains of madness, it's one of lovecraft's most brilliant stories.
