The Importance of Recognizing Bias
I think interviewing is superficial the way it's set up, right? You're judging someone in a half day or an hour or 30 minutes. And so I think teaching people just to acknowledge their own bias is helpful because then you can actually sit down and say, how do I feel about this person? Or it allows you to approach a call with knowing this is my bias. How am I going to approach this call differently?
