Sally Kohn: It seems very confusing to think that we could be in a recession, entering a recession or do you know what it is? When jobs are still seemingly quite strong. If there's a recession, you were going to have to show some negative jobs growth somewhere around that episode to confirm that it was a recession without that. She says managers can get distracted by the so-called money illusion where top line revenue growth is holding up even though units and things like that are selling less of stuff.
