The Unifying of the Particular in the Universal
My worry about someone like Adorno is that we've still got that moment of identity, that moment of universality. It's just constantly an object of suspicion, something we've got to be careful about. Whereas in a way for Hegel and Marx, no, there's somewhere else you can go. You can integrate the particular in the universal in a much deeper way. And I think that's more fruitful, more true to what it is to be human.
