The Lighthouse Keeper's Story

A benevolent spirit, many call the little lady, seems to be set on keeping house at owl's head. She has also been associated with the random, opening and closing of doors. A keeper in the late 1980s said that his wife saw a woman in a white dress gazing out the windows. And their son insisted there was a lady who liked to sit in a chair in his room. People say she conveys a peaceful feeling and that they don't mind her being there. Of course, my favorite story about the owl's headlight is not about a ghost at all. It has to do with a very heroic dog named Spot.
