You Aren't Really Free, You Don't Have the Truth
Jesus said if you continue in my word, my teaching, and the truth will set you free. But they take this invitation as an attack on their Jewishness. He's inviting them into a deeper expansion of their understanding of what it means to actually be free and to know the truth. This is very important to note here because this text has been butchered in history. We are not the children of Abraham, we're the children of the Enlightenment.
