CHAPTER

You Know It's a Gamble

Janet is irritated right she gets there and everything's changed. She goes to complain to the nurse and the nurse is like you know decisions are hard. What is irritating her? Well you know she approves of his decision to not have the surgery. When he decides he does want the surgery after all, she says maybe he wanted to gamble. I guess I think that strikes her as irresponsible. You're allowed to make bad choices if you stand by them sort of but the pure risk maybe she has less tolerance for.
