How Can We Clean Up Space Junk?
The feather will orbit the sun, just like anything else in our solar system. It will happily do that essentially forever, unless it runs into something else in its path,. We call those meteoroids and asteroids. So no matter where we drop this feather in space, it'll follow the pull of gravity. But just like on earth, if a feather has to run into something like a little bit of atmosphere or a meteoroid, that'll change its path too.
