The Unprecedented Success of Slack

I remember Stuart calling me and saying, we're going to shut it down. And I think maybe a week later, they had launched a website called Hire Genius. It was a website of all the folks that had been laid off from Slack and their resumes. So there's definitely some external conditions which are really important. If we had started Slack three years earlier, I don't think it would have taken off in anything like the way it did.
