Is He Just a Little More Gentle With Me?

Couples should come up with their own code phrase for each other. The one that my husband and i use most often is, he can you just be a little more gentle with me? I'm feeling a little sensitive because most of the time i have thick skin. Most of the time his sarcasm lands well, and that's what i love most about him. But sometimes i'm a sense bear, and i need him to be more gentle. And it's not about him coming in too hot. It's about me being able to communicate my feelings to him and where i'm ad so that he can correct.
