Is There a Risk of Alkaline Soso?
The human body can adapt to ig altitude in both immediately, like in the short term, and through longer term of climatization. The lack of oxygen is sensed by the receptors in the corroted arteries and elsewhere that i mentioned before, and that can increase the breathing rate. But it also leads to breathing out more carbon dioxide, which results in acetic blood. Too little carbon oxide results in alkaline blood. And that's a problem as well, because we need to keep the blood peate in a very small range for normal metabolic functions to continue. So wayaclimatizing over a long period of time to these higher altitudes is a way of reducing the risk of this
