Amy talks to Geetha Shankar about the teacher and student relationship. Ms. Shankar was the Head of Yoga Studies at Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram in Chennai, India for decades. She was a senior student of TKV Desikachar, and named one of the 100 Most Inspirational Yoga Teachers in India in 2018. Amy and Ms. Shankar talk about what it was like to be a student of Sir Desikachar and to sit in consultations with him, what her relationship with him was like, and how we can maintain the student and teacher relationship even in modern times.
