The Dangers of the Police Force
I think the danger to what we're seeing unfolded in the country is that focus and emphasis on the police force, which certainly has, you know, problems. Social media gives us this meditative awareness of the violence and aggression towards particularly black people in this country. Of course, it doesn't look like an Eric Garner type of situation, but part of what makes it an Eric Garner situation tenable are the acceptance of it by society that we could not indict him.
