A man in adams county, Colorado was told to shut down his oil and gas company. He decided to orphan the wells so he could continue making money from them. The judge put a stay on that because it was an unapproved use of the land. Now there are over 290 "orphaned" wells in Adam's County which is one of the most productive places to generate gas oil and gas in colorado. So at the end of the day, i think, you know, money, money talks.
