The New York magazine published a piece called the Pilates Pocalypse. The article found that about 10% of Pilates folks stopped doing Pilates in 2011 alone. It starts to seem sort of dated, it starts to be seen as too expensive. And now there's stuff like bar and there's a bunch of different kinds of yoga that are more available in the US.
