The Consensus of Superintelligence

Oxford philosopher Bostrom argues that superintelligence could be a much worse risk than climate change. He thinks we'll have to get this right on the first shot, because once you have unfriendly antagonistic superintelligency says it might not be possible to put that change back into the bottle. But he can't switch it off as it's going to outthink you and is more creative than you. This contradiction at the heart of his entire worldview on this makes no sense - yet people listen to him anyway.
