Germany's History of Ost Poltic

A lot of people are forgetting Germany's history of Ost politic, which was not simply like cowardice. That proved to be controversial but also definitely useful over time. There needed to be a Western power that was doing that led to some accesses and led to some good things. I think Germany is probably rethinking that right now in its energy sector. But it's a history that it has. It is not necessarily a history purely of like cowardice and flinching and corruption. Russia has attempted to corrupt every one of its commercial ties in Western Europe. And that's just what it's been doing for a long time.
