The Gap Between Action and the Imagination

I think mine is different from that of most other people in that I'm very keen on retaining as much of a grasp as we can have on certain utopian impulses. One of my disagreements with pragmatism is that the tendency that many pragmatists have to reduce the imagination just to action in the world. There's also nothing wrong with having forms of the imagination that that aren't immediately realized because they can become part of the culture and they can have a long long life waiting until they can be realized.
