What Kind of Projects Have You Been Working On?
The project that really preoccupied my mind is how to develop the intellectual agenda here for the department. I'm not seeing this just out of the politeness because if you look around the world social science is under threat in many ways. In some countries like in China scholars still have decent salaries but the freedom is very severely severely constrained and apart from political freedom it's also quite distorted, he says. He looks forward to a fourth interview whatever version however it comes out multi-modal form or in book form.
