The SEC's Response to the Ripple Lawsuit
The SEC has always said that this was just Bill Hinman doing a personal views speech, which all these emails basically just proved that that wasn't true. So it's very kind of curious and weird that a lot of the ripple defense was premised on trying to throw a theorem under the bus. That was actually my interpretation. And then the one major consequence of this email release is in effect to kind of expose facto baptism of Ethereum as presumably not a security.
