Cunning folk were religious Christian and they would use the Bible is kind of like their go to grimoire. I don't think they were like how we think of contemporary pious Christians in, you know, a Western sense these days. But by the sense of their time, I think that they were Christian. It just wasn't a Christianity we might recognize now.
