Sheng was ranked high enough to be placed in all the top classes. But because he had just made the cut off, he was constantly falling short and ranking the absolute lowest in all of his classes. Authorities believe that he climbed the little ledge of the outer shed walls to tie both of his shoelaces to a tree branch and then around his neck to sustain his weight. Then he jumped from the wall ledge, letting gravity do its work and effectively ending his life. Sheng's family is confused on how quickly things might have developed. They never suspected a single thing.
