The Velvet Underground - A Beautiful Song
This is a gorgeous song an absolutely gorgeous song. It completely took me off guard the first time I heard it because when I bought that peel slowly and sea box set most of what I knew about the velvet underground was that they were considered pioneers of punk rock and post punk. This was just so far from what I expected this to sound like that I was shocked But once I got over that as he said before this song is Superb just a great solo on it with like wonderful Viola from john kale underneath of it Great lyrics great atmosphere just basically a perfect pop song Perfect enough that when matthew sweet and susanah off of the bangles did their Beneath the covers selection of albums
