The Operation of Sham
The operation of guilt, in theory, should terminate or interrupt once you correct. By contrast, if you have a shame problem, where you harm another person, e the problem of s is not necessarily done and over. So i think that the phenomenology that shame feels global and uncontrollable may be phenomenological concomitants of these problems. For example, many people are demaling you, and you have no control. It's uncontrolable, like tiny, juntiny sesof of shame.
