The BJP Is Unable to Jettison the 1857 Legacy
Vishnu Damodar Savarkar was the first to call 1857, the first for a win. He wrote that Hindus and Muslims were locked in conflict for centuries but by just before 1857, they had reached a compromise with the British. The BJP has completely twisted this narrative since taking control of India after 1947. They are now reaching a point where they are actually pruning the Muslim element out even though he acknowledged Malvi and Adul Nasha's role. This is what needs to be carried forward to further revolutionize Indian society. To complete the unfinished task of within 27 years.
