And therefore it decides to launch a conventional attack against, I don't know, NATO headquarters in Europe or something. And from there, you have an all out war. So does the analogy apply? Probably not. The main objective right now for Western policymakers should be get Putin to save face and back out without pushing into a corner. But so far, he's not as stupid as to go and invade
